The Motherload of Web 2.0 sites

I recently learned of a new website, Go2Web20, where you can basically find any and all social learning sites there are!  I was inclined to go visit because I created a Centra presentation on what Web 2.0 is and also provided a list of available sites people could explore.  Well, this list is amazing! 

I really like how you can sort the websites according to their tags.  For example, I wanted to learn about the fun Web 2.0 sites there are out there…so I clicked on the “fun” tag and viola!  The fun sites appeared!

Next I checked the “collaborative” tag and was blown away at the list of sites that were available at my fingertips.  Simply amazing!  As you rollover each icon for the site, it gives you a brief description of what the site offers so that you know which sites would be valuable for you to use.

Because there are so many different tags, you can simply type what you are searching for in the search box and any site that relates to that topic will appear.  This is great if you’re looking for something specific, but if you’re just browsing…take the time to have fun!  There are so many different sites that offer so many different opportunities for eLearning.
